Residents in Waddesdon are being invited to have their say on proposed new parking restrictions aimed at improving road safety and traffic flow.
Buckinghamshire Highways is consulting on plans for parts of Baker Street and School Lane, with the scheme being funded through the HS2 Road Safety Fund.
The proposals come in response to concerns about parking on unrestricted sections of Baker Street, where parked vehicles can significantly narrow the road and make it difficult for larger vehicles, including school buses, delivery vehicles and emergency services, to pass safely.
Highways officers say visibility at junctions can also be affected by parked vehicles, while existing parking restrictions have not fully resolved congestion and access issues in the area.
Under the plans, additional parking restrictions would be introduced through a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO), including changes to existing single and double yellow lines on Baker Street and School Lane.
The measures are intended to improve traffic flow, particularly near the Village Hall end of Baker Street.
Buckinghamshire Highways says the restrictions would also be supported by the council's new parking enforcement arrangements, helping to encourage safer and more considerate parking.
Residents can view the detailed plans and submit their comments as part of the consultation process.
Those wishing to take part can find more information and share their views via the Buckinghamshire Council consultation website.
