Local residents are being invited to put their teamwork, problem-solving skills and sense of adventure to the test in Race Across Aylesbury, and help raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.
The event takes place on Saturday 19 September, starting at 10am and finishing by 5pm. Beginning at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, participants will follow a series of clues leading them to locations across the town.
At each checkpoint, teams must solve puzzles or complete challenges before receiving their next clue and continuing the race.
A live leaderboard will track teams' progress throughout the event as they compete to complete the course in the fastest time. The winning team will receive a prize.
The challenge will finish at Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity's head office on Walton Street, where participants will be welcomed with refreshments after completing the course.
Entry costs £15 per person or £50 for a team of four, with all proceeds helping to fund local hospice care services across Buckinghamshire.

Lyn Denham, Community and Events Fundraising Manager, said:
"This is a fantastic opportunity for friends, families and colleagues to come together for a fun and engaging challenge while raising vital funds for local hospice care. We're excited to bring something new to Aylesbury and look forward to seeing teams put their skills to the test."
Funds raised through the event will help Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity continue to support hospice services and provide care for local patients and their families when they need it most.
Participants are encouraged to register early and start assembling their teams for what promises to be a unique and memorable day of fundraising.
Those interested in taking part can sign up for Race Across Aylesbury via the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity website (www.fnhospice.org.uk) External link.
