3 Labour MP’s have written to Buckinghamshire Council to express their concern following a recent Ofsted inspection of local children’s service.
Aylesbury’s Laura Kyrke-Smith, Wycombe’s Emma Reynolds and Buckingham and Bletchley representative Callum Anderson, say the welfare of children comes before party politics. The letter says the MP's are committed to working with the council to ensure children’s services reach the highest possible standards
It's after an Ofcom report found local services require improvement, although there have been positive changes since the last inspection in 2021.
The three MP's have asked for an immediate action plan to address the short comings to ensure every child gets the support they are entitled to.
