On The Table hopes to encourage informal conversations about life in the county.
The scheme, running from this November to February 2027, has been launched by community foundation Heart of Bucks.
It's designed to bring people together around a table - whether over dinner with family, a coffee with friends or a colleague get-together - to give them the chance to openly discuss their lives and communities.
They're encouraging anyone who lives, works or spends time in Buckinghamshire to host their own On The Table conversation by registering here (external).
Heart of Bucks say there's no set format or prescribed topics, but suggest discussions might be on housing, transport, the cost of living, health, jobs, community safety, or local facilities. In doing so, they hope to bring together these small informal conversations to "develop a deeper understanding of the experiences, challenges and aspirations shared by people and communities across Buckinghamshire."
They say feedback from each table will then be brought together in a report to raise awareness and help inform conversations with charities, community organisations, public bodies and decision-makers.
