Concerns raised over pedestrian safety in Aylesbury

Residents are being urged to report any issues they spot.

Mayor Sherrilyn Bateman said in a social media post she was "incensed" by cars and security vans driving through cobbled pedestrian areas of Market Square and the High Street.

She added that she spent two hours writing a six point email to Bucks Council about the issue, saying she continues to have meetings and keeping emailing directly.

Bateman said "assets need preserving, but more importantly, they are pedestrian areas and life needs preserving too".

She's also encouraging residents to report any issues they spot on the FixMyStreet app and to your local councillors.
