Fire crews responded to a flat fire in Beaconsfield.
Firefighters were sent to Post Office Lane at just before 8pm on Sunday,
A small fire in a first-floor flat was out when they arrived.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one man, who was treated for the effects of breathing in smoke.
They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke.
