Discover the history of the LGBTQ community with Bucks Museum

Bucks Museum, Bucks Council and the Bucks Archives are welcoming people to their webinar tonight (25th Feb) at 7pm.

It will explore the representation and share the hidden stories of the LGBT community in museums and archives.

You can also find out about some of the Museum’s recently donated collections from local LGBTQ communities and hear all about fascinating stories of LGBTQ people from our archives.

Buckinghamshire Archives preserves the county’s memory, but many of the stories it holds remain untold and undiscovered. These ‘hidden stories’ include the lives of LGBTQ people. This presentation will highlight some of the fascinating stories that have already been discovered in other archives, and examine some of the challenges of LGBTQ archival research.

Speaker:  Sue Shave, Museum Director
Museum LGBTQ Collections
