Bucks Police release their Summer Anti-Burglary Campaign

They're providing residents with tips on how to keep your home safer string the lighter months.

Tips they have released so far are:

Installing shutters, curtains or frosted glass in your windows, you can keep your home safer from potential burglars. They are a great way of keeping your home private as well as keeping your valuables hidden
Lighting up dark areas of your garden with motion sensor lighting. Installing motion sensor lights can play a vital role in your home security, discouraging intruders from getting close to your property as well as providing a sense of safety and welcome as you return home.
Helping to keep your front door secure by adding a lower level lock. Additional locks help to delay unwanted people gaining access to your home and drawing more attention to intruders.
Keeping an eye on your neighbour's homes as well and report any suspicious activity.

Call 999 if there is a crime in progress or 101 for non emergencies.
