Thousands of students across Buckinghamshire are receiving their A-Level and other qualification results today, as they prepare to take their next steps into university, training or employment.
Young people are collecting results for A-Levels as well as qualifications including BTECs and NVQs following months of study.
Buckinghamshire Council has congratulated students on their achievements, while reminding those who may not have received the results they hoped for that support and advice is available.
Carl Jackson, the council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Children’s Services, said today was an important moment for thousands of young people across the county.
He congratulated students and thanked parents, carers, teachers and support staff for helping them fulfil their potential.
Mr Jackson also encouraged anyone unsure about their next steps to speak to their school, college or training provider, stressing that there are still options and opportunities available.
Advice for students and families following results day is also available through Buckinghamshire Council’s Family Information Service.
