People across Buckinghamshire are being asked how safe they feel in their communities as a new county-wide survey launches today. (10/08/26)
The 2026 Safer Buckinghamshire Survey is open to residents, workers, businesses and students and aims to identify people's concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour.
Run by the Safer Buckinghamshire Partnership, the survey asks about people's experiences of crime and anti-social behaviour in their local area, their experiences of reporting crime and how safe or unsafe they feel in Buckinghamshire.
The partnership brings together Buckinghamshire Council, police, the fire service, probation, health and social care services to work on reducing crime and anti-social behaviour across the county.
Results from the survey will be considered alongside crime data to help decide where resources should be focused and shape community safety priorities for the coming year.
Steve Bowles, Buckinghamshire Council's Cabinet Member for Communities, said Buckinghamshire remains one of the safest places in the country, but people's experiences can differ between communities.
He said the survey gives people an opportunity to highlight the issues that matter to them and helps ensure future work is focused where it can make the biggest difference.
The survey is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in Buckinghamshire and closes at 11.59pm on Friday 2 October 2026.
Residents can complete the survey through the Your Voice Bucks website.
