Earlier today the Secretary of State for Health updated the House of Commons on the new variants of Covid-19 that have been found in various countries abroad. It is absolutely right that he is taking these new variants seriously, however it is also important that we avoid the harms that would be caused by any new lockdowns, particularly to children's education and development and the economic havoc they would equally cause. So I asked Sajid Javid how we may be able to stretch the booster programme further, ensuring more people are able to get their third jab to ensure we are protected and can carry on with normal life.
