Inspector Emily Dover from Aylesbury has won the Buckinghamshire and Overall Community Police Officer award at the Thames Valley Community Policing Awards.
She was based at Buckingham Police Base, working closely with the rural community of Bucks at the time she was nominated, and is currently based at Milton Keynes station.
Emily said: "Although I've moved on to a new role now, to end my career in the Aylesbury Vale where I've grown up and where we've done so much work for the community is a real privilege. And to have been nominated and to get the award so thank you very much."
Alex Ridley, who is also based at Buckingham police station won the Buckinghamshire Police Community Support Officer award.
