Thames Valley Police have introduced their newest officer, who goes by the name of Mr.Ben.
PC Ben is the title and hero of a new story book created by the force, to help form positive relationships between the police and young children in Bucks.
The book has been written and illustrated by a serving Thames Valley Police Community Support Officer, and includes Mr.Ben having a busy day looking after his local community. He is friendly and takes his time to speak to people, is kind and knows how to help as he comes across various situations.
And 2700 copies of the PC Ben book has been created and given out to over 900 schools in the Thames Valley area. With digital copies also being made available to download for parents at home.
