The town's War Memorial, a poignant tribute to those who served their nation during both World Wars, has been renovated.
The Town Council say "the meticulous restoration of the memorial’s lettering has breathed new life into the memorial's engravings.
The newly repainted lettering now stands crisp and clear, ensuring that the names of servicemen continue to be honoured with the dignity and respect they deserve.
In addition to the lettering, the parking bollards surrounding the memorial have also undergone renovation to complement the memorial’s renewed grandeur. The careful restoration of these features further accentuates the memorial's prominence as a focal point of remembrance within the community".
