Early work for the new road is set to start today (Mon, 28/3)
The work for phase one of the South East Aylesbury Link Road will see ecologists visiting the area near the Hampden Hall development, while vegetation will be cleared for site access and fences will be erected. Machinery is due to be delivered and unloaded tonight, with temporary lights in place between 7pm and midnight.
The completed road will be over half a mile long, with two roundabouts, and a bridge over the Aylesbury to Marylebone railway line.
