A woman has been sentenced for drug offences in High Wycombe.
Caitlin Radford, aged 25, of Priory Avenue, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to two counts each of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin and cocaine in a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court.
At the same hearing, Radford was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months.
Radford was further sentenced to complete rehabilitation activities and undergo unpaid work.
The offences occurred at around 2pm on 3 June in Priory Avenue when officers saw cause to detain Radford after she was seen in suspicious circumstances close to known drug users.
Radford was searched and a 45 wraps of cocaine and 39 wraps of heroin were located in her possession.
Investigating officer Police Sergeant Ben Pearmain, part of the Stronghold team based at High Wycombe, said: “I am pleased to see that this conviction has resulted in a suspended prison sentence. I hope Radford can use this time to consider her actions.
“Thames Valley Police remain absolutely committed to pursuing and prosecuting drug dealers, and will continue to make the Thames Valley a hostile place for them to carry out their criminal activities.”
