A number of schools and education centres will close early or completely over the next few days as temperatures continue to soar.
Headteachers have said the safety of pupils and staff is key, and online learning is being offered by some places instead of face to face lessons.
Some SEND schools have also been advised by the Medicines Resource Centre at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust that medications held in school can no longer be guaranteed as safe or effective if establishments can no longer maintain a consistent storage temperature.
You can see a list of all the reduced times and closures on the Buckinghamshire Council website here (external link).
