Train journeys to and from London will be affected by HS2 work this Saturday and Sunday (22/23 Feb), with the railway closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all weekend.
HS2 viaduct works near Wendover will lead to changes to the Chiltern Railways timetable.
As a result of the planned engineering works, the railway is closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all weekend. No Chiltern Railways train services will operate between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham). Rail replacement buses will operate in both directions as follows, connecting with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham.
- Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Customers are advised to:
- Allow extra time for their journey
- Book tickets in advance via the website or Chiltern App
- Check their journey before travelling
