Town Council Introduces ‘Happy to Chat’ Benches

Two new Happy to Chat benches have been installed in Buckingham.

The benches are located at Cornwall’s Meadow Riverside Walk and Chandos Park.

This initiative is part of Buckingham Town Council's commitment to fostering community spirit and promoting mental well-being among our residents.

The ‘Happy to Chat’ bench scheme is designed to encourage social interaction and combat loneliness.

The benches are clearly marked with signs inviting passers-by to sit down and engage in conversation with others.
