The much loved Towersey Festival, which was due to take place from the 27th -30th August this year has been cancelled.
Organisers had originally toned down the festival, having less stages, stalls and no dance tent, calling it 'pint sized'.
However, they have made a statement last night (29/7) that the festival will not be going ahead at all.
Organisers have said they cannot count on the ever-changing COVID rules and restrictions, and 'should the worse happen over the next 4 weeks, would bankrupt the festival.'
They are refunding tickets. For ticket holders who can and want to support the future of the festival by donating then they are asking to please do so.
Any amount you can donate will help.
