A local charity are looking for swimmers to complete a fundraising challenge this Summer.
The Chilterns Neuro Centre are looking for people to swim their share of 21 miles during August..that’s the same distance as Dover to Calais.
You haven't actually got to go in the channel, you can swim anywhere you want - your local pool, an open water venue, or even the charity's hydrotherapy pool at the centre. They can set the hydrodrive working so you can swim against the motor generated current.
For each mile they are asking swimmers to fundraise a minimum of £150. You can sign up using this link https://chilternsneurocentre.org/event/swim-the-channel/ (External site).
The Chilterns Neuro Centre treats, supports and empowers people who have MS, Parkinson's or have survived a stroke.
