Becca Bullock's family started the fundraiser to create a small woodland where they could remember her.
The fundraiser for 31-year-old Becca Bullock, who died last month after she was stabbed to death at a train station in Germany, has far surpassed its original target of £1,000 reaching more than £15,100.
Nic Bullock, who started the appeal, said in its description that Becca loved the countryside, the farm where she lived and her animals and that in her memory they want to plant some trees or a small woodland.
The fundraiser is listed as having over 300 supporters and several community groups have paid tribute to Becca since her passing, including the Thame Runners Club who said she was a vibrant, much-loved part of their running family. Becca was also the joint secretary of the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase, with the Countryside Alliance remembering her energy, generosity and enthusiasm.
The White Swan in Whitchurch, where she was a manager, also held a memorial for her yesterday (25/09) and the Countryside Alliance.
