21:00 Update

The storm is making it's way over Bucks, with winds reportedly yet to be at their strongest, and a band of heavy rain to come. You can track the storm here https://veryweather.co.uk/ukweathermap.html?fbclid=IwAR0dPqbDvaJghkqvPse3LXCY-WiOupePUhnrOoT_U-3RQl5x7G_71ShF0Mk (EXTERNAL LINK)

Some areas have already reported power cuts, including parts of Aylesbury, Cow Roast at Tring, Cheddington, and West Wycombe. Keep up to date by following @UKPowerNetworks on X or by visiting their website https://ukpowernetworks.co.uk

There is disruption to public transport, and this could well continue into the morning rush hour.

Airports are being forced to divert or cancel flights, and again you are asked to check before you travel.

Locally on the roads, the advice is to only travel if absolutely necessary, with reports of fallen trees and debris on several routes.

* Tree down between Silk Mill Way and Shugars Green, Tring

* Part of a tree on Coldhabour Way towards the roundabout

* Tree reported to be down at the bottom of Coombe Hill, Hughenden Valley. Road blocked completely
