Earlier this week a pregnant ewe was killed in what is being called a horrific attack near Quarrendon.
It was carrying 3 lambs who also subsequently died. The sheep farmer said that he loses at least 12 sheep a year to the actions of dogs and humans, and he is by no means alone.
As a result, Berryfields Parish Council launched a poster competition, to address this issue, that can be put up in fields around the area.
