The brand new LGBTQI+ event and celebration is in the works called 'Pride In The Park 2022', due to be held on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August, following directly after the “Live In The Park 2022” event.
It will be completely free and suitable for all ages, with live entertainment, stalls, food and drink and even a kids zone full of fairground rides and craft tables.
Matthew Fuller who is the CEO of Pride in Aylesbury, told us why the event is so important for the community:
"It just shows that we're inclusive and we're here for everybody, that the safe space is there. There's people they can talk to and it gives the LGBT charities who are local the chance to express what they do and give that vital information - information the public might not know.
Everyone that's involved are all very excited and all very positive we get the outcome we hope for and it'll be a success."
They are on the look out for Volunteers, Vendors, Acts, Artists and Entertainers, local Organisations and Businesses, you can email your information at - info@prideinaylesbury.org
