New Covid-19 cases falling fast in Bucks but still reasons for caution

The latest Covid-19 data for Buckinghamshire tells a mixed story

While the county is still in the second highest sector for infection rate at 428.5 per 100,000, it is falling fast.

The latest data to 9th November reveals 1,800 new cases, down 34.2% on the previous week.

Sadly, seven people died with Covid-19 on their death certificate in Buckinghamshire in the week ending 29th October, taking the total for the county to 1,260 since the start of the pandemic.

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust hospitals have admitted 25 people with Covid-19 in the past week.

The county is also still tracking behind the UK when it comes to vaccinations.

76.4% of over-12s are now fully vaccinated in Buckinghamshire compared to 79.8% for the UK as a whole.
