A man in his twenties has been taken to hospital with wounds to his neck after the altercation in The Feathers in Kingsbury Square.
It happened at around 9.30pm yesterday (21/6), when the victim tried to intervene in a fight between two other men.
One of the men then assaulted the victim with a piece of broken glass.
A 23-year-old man from Aylesbury has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 20-year-old man, from High Wycombe and a 25-year-old woman, from Aylesbury, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All three remain in police custody.
Senior Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Simon Tyas, based at Aylesbury police station said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information about what happened, to please come forward.
“We believe that this was an isolated incident and that there is no wider risk to the public.

The victim is in a stable condition in hospital.
