The Chiltern Open Air Museum are inviting families to cook up a storm this weekend at the 19th century Haddenham Croft Cottage.
In the 90 minute session, you will learn how to cook Welsh Griddle Cakes and even make your own butter, and for the true Victorian experience you are even welcome to dress up!
This course will be led by our experienced tutor and re-enactor Jenny and takes place in Haddenham Croft Cottage, our 19th century croft cottage.
The maximum number of participants for this experience is currently 1 adult and 2 children, from the same family bubble. Children must be a minimum age of 5 years.
'The whole experience was amazing. Not only were the two recipes new to me and my mum, but Jenny was lovely and the setting (with a live fire and carbolic soap!) felt very authentic. We would definitely recommend it to others and would consider trying other Experiences. Thank you!' Teatime Treats Participant, aged 10
Additional Information:
This experience starts at 1:30pm and finishes around 3:00pm.
Upcoming dates: Saturday 28th August 2021
