Police are investigating after a man was pushed into the Grand Union Canal in Aylesbury.
The incident happened at about 6.10pm on Monday/
Emergency services searched the area for the man but he could not be found.
He later contacted police to say he had managed to get out of the canal but it is unknown for how long he was in the water or how he got out.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
