Police officers have attended an address in Amersham Hill, High Wycombe and arrested a 19 year-old man on suspicion of possession of an explosive material for an unlawful purpose. He is currently in police custody. Chiltern Railways say services could still be disrupted. More below.
Policing Commander for South Buckinghamshire, Superintendent Emma Burroughs said: “I would like to reassure residents and visitors to High Wycombe that Thames Valley Police and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit are at the scene and managing the incident.
High Wycombe railway station may have a number of delayed trains or cancellations.
