Building fire

Five crews were dispatched (two from Aylesbury, one from Winslow, High Wycombe and Thame), along with two officers.
Firefighters were called to a fire in a four-storey domestic building. The fire had started in the basement. Firefighters rescued two females using a 10.5 metre ladder and one male from the ground floor.
Firefighters used:
- Four sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- 10.5 metre ladder
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service also attended.
A fire investigation is planned at the incident.

There had been reports of a fire on Buckingham Road on Tuesday afternoon (28/1) with fire engines, police and ambulances present. The road was closed for a few hours.
