1,200 metal 'Sunset Roses' will be installed in the Rose Garden at Waddesdon Manor this spring.
The charity is partnering with Waddesdon Manor again this year to offer its supporters the chance to dedicate one of its limited bespoke metal roses to a loved one, which will then be included in a temporary installation displayed from 29th April to 17th May.
Those who choose to commemorate someone with one of the 1,200 roses available will also be invited to a private viewing of the display on Monday the 27th April, before the exhibit is then accessible to the public for three weeks, after which they can keep their rose as a keepsake.
By dedicating a Sunset Rose with a donation, the charity say that supporters will also be helping them to provide compassionate hospice care for more patients and families across Buckinghamshire and its borders.
Community and Events Manager at Florence Nightingale, Lyn Denham, said that they "are thrilled to be returning to Waddesdon Manor for our fifth Forever Flowers installation" adding that they "hope our supporters will enjoy the installation as much as we love putting it together.”
A supporter from last year’s Forever Flowers installation said: “It was an absolutely lovely event. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and it was run so efficiently. The transport was direct and efficient, the volunteers were helpful but discreet, the flowers were beautiful, and we were blessed with perfect weather.”
