A flood alert has been issued for Bear Brook & tributaries in the Aylesbury area, including Wendover & Weston Turville.
River levels are being monitored & continue to recede but flooding of low lying land & roads is possible.

Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high but falling on the Bear Brook and tributaries as a result of heavy rainfall yesterday. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today especially in the Aylesbury area. Scattered showers are possible in the area throughout this afternoon into evening. Staff are in the area clearing trash screens. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
