Fire crews were called to a house fire in Chesham yesterday.
One appliance and crew from Amersham, one from Beaconsfield, one from High Wycombe, along with an officer attended the incident in Springfield Road.
Smoke was issuing on arrival, the fire was located within the lounge of the property.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, enforcement tools, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
The property was approximately 40 per cent damaged by the fire and 100 per cent damaged by the smoke.
They also carried out Home Fire Safety Visits in neighbouring properties.
