Firefighters responded to a kitchen fire in the early hours of this morning.
Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury, along with an officer attended.
A small fire was located within the kitchen of the property in Pitstone.
The firefighters rescued a man from the bedroom and provided him with oxygen therapy.
They used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation van.
The man was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
