Emergency responded to a hazardous material incident in High Wycombe on Sunday.
Fire crews from Beaconsfield, Bicester and High Wycomble along with police and ambulance service were called to Station Road at just before 2pm.
The fire service said the incident involved a white powdered substance.
A women was passed into the care of the South Central Ambulance Service.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and gauntlets when entering the property.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
