The much loved community tea rooms have been given until the 1st January 2022, by their landlords - the Trustees of The Old School Community Hub.
The owners of the Curiositea Rooms have shared a letter they have received on their Facebook Page, stating the termination of their lease at Ivinghoe Old School Community Hub.
In the letter to the owners, the trustees have mentioned the 'aggressive online campaign against them', stating it has made it impossible to stay civil.
The letter also included the suggestion that that the break down in relations between the two parties was a huge factor in their decision to end the lease.
The tea rooms have made the decision to continue trading until the end of December, making sure their staff have jobs before Christmas, and have even taken them on a bowling trip to lighten sprits.
The trustees has previously told us in a statement that they want to have a hub cafe that is run in a way which allows them to direct a maximum of funds back into the community they support.
