Congratulations Megan for reaching the summit on Snowdon

133 women from 28 Fire and Rescue services have climbed Snowdon.

The huge group is comprised of representatives from 28 different fire and rescue services across the UK, with support from Women In The Fire Service, and each of them will be raising funds for us for their own personal reasons.

While some have received the charities support themselves, others have colleagues, friends and family who have done in the past. Meanwhile, many will be taking part to raise awareness of the incredible work women do in our fire services community every day.

From Buckinghamshire Fire Service Megan Carroll, explains why the charity is so important:

And what the fundraising plan is:

Megan was helped along with free food supplied by the Bell in Winslow.
