Great news for the Aylesbury Wombles as they have received a van to use while they continue to fund raise for their own electric vehicle.
Aylesbury-based Legacy Funeral Services, have kindly given them a Citroën Belingo with insurance and tax paid too.
The Aylesbury Wombles formed in June 2019 and families, teenagers and children, as well as Duke of Edinburgh participants, take part in weekly organised litter-picks in Aylesbury.
The van means the group’s hard-working members can collect bags of rubbish from litter pickers who cannot get to designated rubbish drop-off points. They can also use the van as a mobile shed to store their equipment.
Here it is in all it's glory!
