Bucks Radio presenters join Nativity! the Musical for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity

Nathan and Richard are joining over 100 children for the production at the Waterside Theatre in October.

The show is being put on to give youngsters the chance to star on stage, and for many it will be the first time they have taken part in such a project.

The cast will rehearse throughout half term, before the one night only show on Sunday October 30th.

Adapted for the stage by original creator Debbie Isitt, this feel-good musical features a host of memorable sing-along hits including Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth, and She’s the Brightest Star.

The show follows St Bernadette’s School as they attempt to mount a musical version of the classic Nativity story. Join Mr Maddens, his teaching assistant the crazy Mr Poppy, hilarious children and a whole lot of sparkle and shine as they struggle to make everyone’s Christmas wish come true. Richard will take the role of the theatre critic, while Nathan the Hollywood producer. Richard has appeared in many productions in the past, while it's Nathan's first time since school (and that was a while ago!).

Produced in partnership with Bucks Music Trust, the project aims to bring the local community together for a fundraising performance that raises vital funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.

Amy Dunstall, Community Fundraiser for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, who is directing the project said:

“All of our young performers are full of enthusiasm and raring to hit the stage. We can’t wait to make this a night to remember! We’re so proud to be bringing the local community together and raising money for such a worthy charity at the same time, and really pleased that Nathan and Richard are joining the fun. We expect this to be a sold-out show and tickets are limited so please don’t delay in ordering yours.”
