The psychological thriller novel is called Hypnotic, and Sherry Hostler from Quainton was inspired by a Darren Brown program she watched years ago.
Sherry released her debut book on 20th March after starting it during COVID, but being an independent author she has fought hard to get here after forty years.
Sherry gave some advice for budding authors, and gave us an insight into her writing process:
Hypnotic tells the tale of Tom who, while trying to outrun his past and save his marriage, is unwittingly drawn into a university experiment with a hidden objective - Can you hypnotise someone to commit murder?
She is now working on her second novel, and hopes the next one doesn’t take as long!
Hynotic’ is available on Amazon both for Kindle and in paperback. You can find more details at sherryhostler.com
