Appeal for witnesses following arson in Chalfont St Peter

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of arson in Chalfont St Peter.

At around 1.20am last Saturday (1/4), a White Vauxhall Vivaro was set alight whilst parked in the car park of Greyhound Inn, High Street.

No one was injured.

Damage has been caused to nearby vehicles and the Greyhound Inn.

One offender is described as wearing a light grey tracksuit. The second offender is described as wearing a dark tracksuit with a white stripe outline and the third offender is described as wearing a dark black hooded jumper with dark grey tracksuit bottoms.

Investigating officer, PC Megan Sweetland, based at Amersham police station said: “Thankfully no one was in the van at the time of the incident, and no one was injured.

“We are carrying out a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances and would appeal to anyone who has information about what happened to please come forward.

“Please check any doorbell, CCTV or dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that may assist the investigation.
