Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) annual awards are open for nominations. The BHT Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements and commitment of individuals and teams working for the Trust.
There are 8 award categories, plus a special ‘People’s Award’ exclusively for patients, carers, family members, and visitors to make the nominations.
Awards will be given to colleagues, volunteers, contractors and partners who deliver personal and compassionate care to patients, their families or carers. Judges will be looking for details about how colleagues and teams collaborate well with others, aspire to be the best, respect everyone as an individual and enable others to learn and develop.
Bridget O’Kelly, Chief People Officer for the Trust said: “The annual awards are a fantastic way to celebrate achievements from the past year. It’s always wonderful to hear stories from those who’ve experienced great care that has made a difference to patients, their families or carers. I hope as many people as possible will take this opportunity to highlight all the very best from across our services, teams, everyone who works with us at the Trust and those who support us."
Full descriptions of each category and information on how to make a nomination can be found on Awards 2025 website page. (external site)
Nominations are open until 20 June (5pm).
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in October 2025.
