A Bucks organisation which came together to help their community during COVID has raised £500 for a family in need, one year after it started.
The Bernwode Bus – or Bernie as he is affectionately known –travels around the Waddesdon area, taking supplies for the Vineyard Food Banks.
But last week they also collected for the Cole Family – to help them create memories after mum, Jackie, was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
36 year old Jackie, from Waddesdon has terminal Cancer. She has 5 girls between the ages of 8 and 18 and a husband called Matt. The Bernie Bus team are going to help raise money to send them on a holiday of a life time this Autumn.
The team’s donation sent the fund to more than £5,000.
