Laura Kyrke-Smith welcomes the commitment from the government to fix Aylesbury streets.
On social media after speaking to Parliament, the MP has said:
Potholes have plagued motorists for too long in Aylesbury and the villages, damaging cars and making pedestrians and cyclists less safe.
I welcome our Labour Government’s commitment to deliver more than £20m in funding to Buckinghamshire Council to fix these potholes.
We are working hard to get our Aylesbury Labour Party candidates elected onto the Council on the 1st of May to ensure this investment delivers results for my constituents.
Today, the Leader of the House Lucy Powell MP reaffirmed our Government's commitment to our road infrastructure and our commitment to filling millions of potholes over the course of this Parliament.
