A serving Thames Valley Police officer has been charged with two offences, following an investigation by Northamptonshire Police.
PC Luke Christopher Horner, based at Amersham police station, has been charged with one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child aged 13-15 and one of making an indecent image of a child in connection with an incident while off duty.
PC Horner, aged 24, is due to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (16/6).
The officer was suspended from duty on Thursday (15/6) and will be subject to a separate misconduct investigation. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has been informed.
