Madeleine Coops, aged 55, of High Street, Great Missenden, pleaded guilty on Thursday (13/10) to one count each of assault by beating, criminal damage and harassment without violence.
On 25 March this year, in Chiltern Road, Amersham, Coops drove at the victim, a man in his fifties, multiple times before knocking him over.
He was not injured. Coops also drove into the victim’s vehicle and caused damage as well as sending him a number of emails.
Coops was arrested the following day (26 March) and charged on 23 September.
She has been made subject to a community order for a period of one year and must carry out 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
A restraining order was also put in place, preventing Coops from contacting the victim.
Investigating officer, PC George Ward, based at Amersham police station, said: “Coops attended the address of the victim uninvited, struck them with her vehicle, and caused damage to their property.
“Additionally she sent a series of harassing emails to the victim despite them simply wanting to be left alone.
“During the course of the investigation Coops has shown no remorse or excuse for their actions and I am pleased that she has now been sentenced.”
