Police are investigating a suspicious incident in High Wycombe.
It happened between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday in Herbert Road.
A man approached a woman and her children in a car, and tried to get access to the vehicle.
The man did not gain access and the woman drove off.
Witnesses are being urged to come forward.
