The Wendover Community board are looking for people with particular interests in the new topics they want to address for this year.
After a successful year of achievements such as:
- Providing funding to a wide array of causes including to local charity, Lindengate, to run its Planted programme for young people who are facing mental health challenges and feel they have nowhere to go.
- Developing good working relationships with town and parish councils and creating strong links with Buckinghamshire Council, providing support and aligning all the work that already takes place within the area.
- Directly addressing long-standing concerns of local residents on matters relating to highways and transportation by working in close partnership with local groups.
The community board will focus on the following areas:
- Environment and Climate Change
- Economic Recovery
- Highways and Transportation
- Health and Wellbeing
The group have £800,000 to put towards working on these topics.
