Aylesbury Vale school kids are being urged to be vigilant after reports of more than one incident involving pupils being approached by strangers.
Bucks Radio has been forwarded a copy of a letter sent to parents with children at Bierton CE Combined school.
In it, it mentions an incident after school yesterday (24/3) in which a pupil was walking home when a car pulled up alongside them.
According to the letter, the man in the car said: "I know your mum and dad, jump in the back and I'll give you a lift".
Thankfully the child didn't accept the lift and the car drove off.
The letter continues that they are aware of another school in the area, having a similar incident on Tuesday (23/3).
It's understood a letter has also been sent to parents with children at Waddesdon School, after reports of a child being followed.
Bucks Council has confirmed it has received reports of children being approached by strangers and that they are taking them very seriously. Their statement goes on to say: "They have been reported to the Police. We have written to the schools who have sent out messages to parents to remind them and pupils to be vigilant on their way to and from school."
It is unclear if any of the incidents are linked.
Bierton School say they will be having a special session today, alerting the children to the 'stranger-danger message'.
